Search Tips

1. The default combination word search logic is AND.

2. The search algorithm analyzes the search word(s) entered carefully and will find that word and/or its most meaningful derivatives. For example, searching “diabe” will yield zero results; however, searching “diabet” will find both “diabetes” and “diabetic.” Of course, searching “diabetes” will find both “diabetes” and “diabetic,” and vice versa.

3. Use quotation marks to perform phrase searches. Multiple phrases can be searched in combination. For example, “gene therapy” “stem cell”.

4. Newly published articles are instantly indexed and made available for searching.

5. Features such as AutoSuggest, AutoComplete, and Spell-checking and correction of entered search words are being developed.
